Coursework is structured around the key knowledge domains found in leading certifications, including Security+, CISSP, SSCP, CSSLP, and CISM, so what you learn translates directly into network security, digital forensics, cloud security, and information assurance skills you can use on the job.
Flexibility. The 30-credit program is offered online in a self-paced, bundled format, with three 2-term bundles of four courses each, giving you control over pace and cost along the way. With a full course load, you can complete your degree in as little as 12 months.

Designated by the NSA and DHS Saint Leo is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education, designated by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Our curriculum meets NSA core standards for graduate information assurance and maps to the domains behind Security+, CISSP, and CISM.
Recognized under DoD 8140 Every DoD cyber role — military, civilian, and contractor — now requires formal qualification under DoD Manual 8140.03. A cybersecurity master's from a CAE-designated school, paired with four years of validated experience, is a recognized foundational qualification pathway, one that can qualify some professionals at the Practitioner tier without a CISSP.
