As an army wife for 24 years, Donna lived in about a half a dozen states before coming to Florida. After careers as a K-12 special education teacher and Florida Career College educator came to a close, Donna knew she wanted to stay in the education field, which is how she landed at Saint Leo. Donna is currently assigned to working with students pursuing associate and bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice. She is quite proud of the fact that one of her students left Saint Leo sometime back, only to return because the other schools didn’t treat the student as well as Saint Leo. In addition to her students, Donna finds her co-workers to be the best part of her job at the university. Her co-workers love her too, especially when she brings in her homemade candy to share.
